Tsetso Ivanov

Tsetso Ivanov was born in Varna and graduated from the National School of Dance Art in the class of Boyko Nedelchev in 2010. In the same year, he joined the Sofia Opera and Ballet company and has since performed in the contemporary and classic repertoire of the troupe, showcasing his versatility as a dancer. He has also participated in the Varna International Ballet Competition. Ivanov currently holds the position of Premier Soloist at the Sofia Opera and Ballet. Throughout his career, Ivanov has earned various awards including the Third-Degree distinction for Junior Age in 2008 at the Anastas Petrov Ballet Competition and the First-Degree distinction in 2010 at the same competition. His repertoire includes a wide range of leading roles such as Siegfried and Rothbart in "Swan Lake", Solor in "La Bayadère", Prince Desiré and The Blue Bird in "The Sleeping Beauty", Albrecht in "Giselle", The Prince and French Doll in "The Nutcracker", Espada and Two Friends in "Don Quixote", The Heretic, The Chosen One, and The Angel in "Carmina Burana", Armand Duval in "La Dame aux Camélias", Escamillo in "Carmen", John in "Zorba the Greek", Conrad in "Le Corsaire", Solo in "Paquita", Ivan Tsarevich in "The Firebird", and Arap in "Petrushka".
