Graduated at the National School of Dance Art in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2013. Participations and Awards: Second prize on the XV National Competition for Young Ballet Dancers “Anastas Petrov”- Dobrich, Bulgaria 2012. Participation in the programs of the "Iliev Dance Art Foundation" in 2008, 2009, 2010 and scholar in 2012 and 2013. The scholarship in 2012 included intensive dance training in Pacific Northwest Ballet School (Seattle, WA, USA). Dance It! 2013, spring intensive program by Iliev Dance Art Foundation Choreographers: Theresa Ruth Howard, Ayo Janeen Jackson, Christian von Howard, Andrea Burr, Petur Iliev. Over 50 performances in the Youth Theatre "Nikolai Binev" – Sofia, with the musical "Oliver Twist" from 2008 to 2012 and "Lord of Owls" in 2013. Participated in the performances of the National Opera and Ballet – Sofia. Participation in tours of with "Swan Lake" and "Nutcracker" in Italy. Grand Prix of the Festival in Burgas, Bulgaria "Mall Galleria Dance Cup" in 2012. Appearances and tours across Bulgaria with the spectacle "Love Seasons" from Atanas Mesechkov with the special participation of Violeta Markovska and Alfredo Torres. From the beginning of the Season 2013-14, Daniel Tichkov is principal dancer at Rousse State Ballet where he dances the roles of Prince Siegfrid ( Swan Lake), Basil ( Don Quixote), The Prince ( The Nutcracker) , etc.
