Bianca Fota began her studies at the National College of Art, Timisoara in 2003 and since 2007 she is principal dancer at Bucharest National Opera. There she has interpreted the most important roles among which: Odette / Odile in "Swan Lake" , Aurora and Diamond in “Sleeping Beauty”, Clara in “The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky, the characters of Medora and Odalisque in “Le Corsaire”, Giselle and Myrtha in "Giselle" by Adolph Adam, Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", Cinderella in “Cinderella” by S. Prokofiev, Kitri in "Don Quixote", Nikia and Gamzatti in "La Bayadere" by Minkus. Bianca Fota won first prize in series of Ballet National Olimpics in 2000, 2001 and 2003. As a principal dancer she has toured many times United States, Canada, Japan, Dubai, Italy, Spain and many others. In 2012 was invited to dance in the well-known International Ballet Festival of Havana, Cuba.
